The moment you step inside, the soft ambient lighting and modern decor marry perfectly with the rustic charm of the historic setting, creating an intimate and romantic ambiance that feels both exclusive and welcoming.

Le Moulin de Saint-Paul proudly showcases the exceptional culinary artistry of Michelin-starred chef Alain Llorca, whose innovative approach shines through every dish. Guests are often drawn to standout offerings such as the delicately balanced ceviche, bursting with freshness and vibrant flavors, or the exquisite tomato and truffle tart, which marries earthiness and sweetness to irresistible effect. Dishes like the cucumber soup and beef tartare showcase skillful layering of textures and tastes, while the Guinea fowl ballottine reveals a masterful command of traditional French techniques with a modern twist.

The dining experience here is not just about food; it’s about savoring every bite in an atmosphere that feels truly special. Whether you’re enjoying a quick and delightful light meal or lingering over a three-course set menu that represents excellent value, the attentive and friendly staff enhance the moment with their knowledgeable and polished service. The wines, sourced from the celebrated vineyards of the South of France, further elevate the meal, perfectly complementing each dish’s nuances.

Visitors consistently praise the restaurant for its harmonious blend of exquisite cuisine, charming surroundings, and effortless sophistication. As one patron noted, it’s rare to find a place where ambiance, service, and food come together in such an unstuffy, approachable manner. Another remarked that it’s certainly a place worth revisiting—if you can secure a reservation before it becomes the best-kept secret of Saint-Paul-de-Vence!

For anyone seeking a genuine taste of Provence infused with artistry and warmth, Le Moulin de Saint-Paul offers a richly rewarding culinary journey that lingers in both memory and palate long after the meal is finished.

Stopped for a quick bite and the food was great! It was an hour before closing for the afternoon so we could only get two plates. We had the ceviche and tomato tart and both were excellent! The restaurant itself is super cute inside and outside.

It’s truly rare when all of the components of dining harmonize in such a lovely and un-stuffy balance of cuisine, ambiance, and service. This new restaurant, the second of Michelin-star chef Alain Llorca, hits all of the right notes. I’m fairly sure it will be nearly impossible to get in once word spreads.

This is a charming restaurant with absolutely delicious food and wonderful views across St Paul de Vence. The restaurant is in a beautifully renovated old mill house with modern touches of decor and soft ambient lighting which lends a touch of romance. Service was attentive and very friendly. We enjoyed a delicious tomato and truffle tart, cucumber soup, beef tartare and Guinea fowl ballontine followed by a fantastic chocolate mousse to share. A great place for a date night!

One of my favourite place. First time visited and food was so amazing. Service was so perfect. Of course it’s south of France so wines are so good. Finally you have to try the desserts.

The best food in St-Paul-de-Vence. The three-course set menu is also the best value meal in the area. Beautiful dining room in an old mill building. Efficient, knowledgeable staff. Well worth a visit.

We had lunch at this place and it was a great find! Everything tasted absolutely delicious, the place is lovely, and the staff is friendly and speaks English too. You can go with your eyes closed!
